- How did you first get into illustration?
Since I was a little, I really enjoy the time of drawing and colouring, I was doing it like all day! So once I grew up and decide (after trying more paths) to dedicate as much time as I could until became a full time illustrator (I'm in the way!)
- How would you best describe your style of illustration?
First word I think it's happy, then colourful then kinda wavy!
- Please take us through your design process, where do you start?
It all starts from an idea, then a lot of brainstorming, I think I just draw it entirely on my mind. The hardest part place it into paper/canvas/illustrator… but very funny!
- What tools do you use for your work?
I use Adobe Illustrator as a basis, then I have fun in pencils I think!
- When illustrating, do you sometimes get blocked for ideas? If so, how do you overcome that?
Yes, I just change my mind and start surfing… Get a little distracted!
- What would be your ultimate goal as an illustrator?
Working full time, having lots of publications…hahah! the fact is that I would love to work as many hours I could into my illustrator career. It's quite along and hard profession.
- What style music do you mostly listen to when you work?
You wouldn't believe that but I normally listen to musicals, like Sweeney Todd, Les Mizerables… But recently I've just discovered a band that stole my heat. Hundred little reasons, they are just awesome!
- Do you have any advice for aspiring illustrators?
I must say they 've got to keep working no matter what, never losing illusion nor strength!
- What web sites would you recommend viewing?
I looove visiting other illustrators or artist blogs, they're just so inspirational! Go out of the classics!
